One year ago, over strong opposition, President Obama and liberals in Congress passed the $1.1 trillion “stimulus” for our economy.  At the time unemployment was at 7.7 percent, and a year later it has unfortunately increased to 9.7 percent.

The stimulus was packed full of wasteful pork barrel spending that has nothing to do with stimulating our economy. 

Here are just a few small examples of egregious waste that our money was spent on:

1.  
   1. $250 stimulus checks went to thousands of convicted felons while still being held in prison.
   2. $390,000 to study people who consume malt liquor and marijuana went to The State University Of New York At Buffalo.
   3. $1 million to renovate Sunset Boulevard, or “the Sunset Strip” was given to the City of West Hollywood Council.
   4. $54 million went to the Napa Valley wine train.

Heather Locklear Arrested. Here is her mugshot. As celebrity mugshots go, this is not the worst I have seen.  Her eyes look like a fuzzy, but she was impaired.

Heather Locklear was arrested on Saturday night, just two months after leaving an Arizona Rehab center while battling anxiety and depression.

Little info is known at this time, but she was arrested and held in Santa Barbara County, according to the California Highway Patrol.  She was released on Sunday

Knight Rider – A shadowy Flight Into The Dangerous World Of A Man Who Does Not Exist

The popular 1980s television show Knight Rider is back. The original show ran from hat originally ran from September 26, 1982, to August 8, 1986.  It had a overacting crimefighter with a smart ass car and it worked.

Tonight, the new version titled Knight Rider 2008 starring new people will air for the first time.  The new star, besides the car, is Justin Bruening.

September 25, 2008 is marked on my calander.   Earl is getting back to the list.  The season premier of one of the best shows on TV is coming back.  My name is Earl will continue working down the list.  You ask me how a show with a pre-determined concept such as a numbered list will last longer than the actual list?  I ask you how a show about a prison break can last three seasons.
