The Fun Husband

After two full days back to work after the holidays, it finally sunk/sank in.  There are no more holidays for a while.  It is back to the 5/6 day work week.  For two weeks, I had three day work weeks and I loved it.  I did not get very much accomplished, but I loved it.  I had some time to just relax, play with the kids,  and party with the wife. None of which I have done for along time.

During the two 3 day work weeks, you are not expected to get much done, so the pressure is off. However, the project lists both at home and work were still growing and the completion expectations are going to get back up to normal this next week. It seems that it is going to be a while before I see the sun again. I might have to join a tanning salon so I don’t turn into one of those pasty white geeks. 

I chose not to make any new year resolutions or even blog about the past year, but I did read that topic on every single other blog on the Internet.  I did have some time to catch up on reading and discover some new sites. 

Here is a great site / blog that I discovered over the holidays that I have been reading:

TheBlogess.com – it is a wildly popular blog so the chances are that you have already read it.  I found it one day and could not stop reading for hours.  I found it was popular when I called the wife over to read a post and she said, “Oh yea, I read her all the time.”  Here are some posts that I loved.
