The Fun Husband

I figured it was time to take stock of the blog and give a summary of everything that is going on.  Although this site is fairly young,  I have managed to shoot out almost a hundred meaningful posts. I hope you readers are enjoying the content and direction of the blog. 

The site is nominated for an award.   Please vote if you feel so inclined. 

I’m fairly happy with the direction of the site at this moment.  Only a few occasions have I had to sit down and think of something to blog about.  Sure, there are some posts that I wish I could take back, but they all seemed like good ideas at the time.  Now that you mention it, I have deleted a few that were scheduled for delivery.  Sometimes a review period is better.

The traffic is growing everyday.  I’m starting to get comments and emails from people that are reading and wanting to share content.  I have a cool little widget that tells me how many times a blog post was read and it actually ranks them over there on the left side of the blog. (No, your left, not mine) Because of that, you get a constant reminder of the popular posts. 

I picked up a lot of traffic with my post about the women who hate fantasy football.  I didn’t realize that many chicks were so crazy about fantasy football. 

I believe the best post was the parenting advice that talks about “parking lot rules” and “how to handle a bully”. If you haven’t read that post and the entire articles on the Best Life magazine website,  I encourage you to do so.  They have both good advice and the attitude that I want to have while raising my children.  At the moment, that is my favorite post.

As you know, several of my posts are reviews of posts from other blogs that I enjoy reading.  I plan to continue shooting you out reviews of blog posts that I enjoy reading.  Good examples are the Wife Advice Blog, that I love, the Blue-Eyed Vixen,  and the Funny Pictures Blog.

One of the best blog post you didn’t read was about Belly Dancing (Shimmy). This still fascinates me.  I think I am going to make the wife take Belly Dancing lessons or at least take me to watch some.  Another good blog post that you didn’t read was my discovery and fascination with the Sideboob concept.

Although my pushup and excercise posts  are not very popular, they are more designed to keep me honest than to entertain you total strangers.  I do not plan to slow down on the excercise posts.  I have some great results from my pushup challenge and I will be adding some additional workout posts to the blog. 

Every Sunday, the fun wife has agreed to pick the NFL games against me.  I’ve posted those on the blog.  It is not going very well for the Fun Husband at the moment.  I plan on picking it up and winning.  

Two of the most exciting things happening now are the Weekly Hot Cheerleader Posts that will happen every Saturday night at or around midnight and the weekly Hot Jessica Simpson Picture Posts that will happen every Wednesday night at or around 10 pm, our time.

So there you have it.  The State of the Union of The Fun Husband Blog as of today.  I encourage you to bookmark this blog and check back everyday.  You may not like all the posts, but If you have read this far, I think you will like most of them. If not, remember it is updated at least daily.   I have no plans to slow down any time soon.
