While looking online for a push up program to go along with my perfect pushups, I found the following site: 100 Push Ups. Apparently, they are advertising a program that will get you in shape enough to do 100 pushups in a row only by working out for their six week program.
There are two things wrong with this. The body doesn’t gain strength that fast, and I am using the perfect pushup, which is harder. At first, I did not think this was a good program, but I decided that it just might work if I modified the goals.
One key thing with their program is that if you can not complete a week, you should start the week over. Having said that, I plan to do this program with the goal of being able to do 50 perfect pushups in row. I will try to do it in six weeks, but I’m sure it will take at least 12.
My initial test puts me over the 10 push up catagory, so I will start with that column. Waiting 60 seconds between sets, the first day, I have to do five sets of the following:
-
- 10
- 10
- 8
- 6
- 7

Thanks for stopping by my site and asking about the push up program – it’s nice to know I’m being checked up on!
I’ve heard the perfect push up mentioned here and there – what is it exactly? What do you feel are the benefits?

The perfect pushup is a device with handles that lets your arms rotate when you are doing the pushup. It makes the pushup harder than the ordinary pushup and develops more muscles. It is supposed to resemble the arm motioned used when throwing a punch.
I believe it works more muscles, I can tell that it works the bicep more.

This seems like so long ago. I cant believe I ever considered 41 pushups a total workout.
